This was the second of two Grizzly fights I watched from the opposite bank of the river very early one morning. there were four bears in the area, feeding on two Bison carcasses on the river bank, The first fight was over food. However, when this giant Grizzly appeared it was clear he was interested in the only female bear in attendance. After easily defeating the winner of the first brawl, he spent the rest of the morning pursuing the female.

All my wildlife galleries contain images of wild animals exclusively. You will never see an image of a captive animal on this site.
