The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The Giant Pacific Manta can grow to 22 feet in width, and weigh 3000 pounds. Yet despite their enormity, Mantas are relatively harmless to Humans. Mantas are plankton feeders and have no stinging barb on the tail. The Diver/Photographer is my daughter Sarah Hochstatter. Photo taken in the Socorro islands of Mexico.
