Artist's Description

The Pine Marten, or American Marten, is a carnivore, and member of the Weasel family, weighing 1-3 pounds, and measuring 1-2 feet in length. Martens live in mature coniferous, and mixed forests, and are widely distributed in North America. The typical diet of the Marten consists of meadow voles, snowshoe Hares, mice, small birds and similar prey, as they are opportunistic feeders. Thanks to my friends; Adam, and Kate.
