Description
Snells window is a phenomenon caused by refraction of light entering the water. In the most simple terms, when looking straight up, the surface of the water appears to be in a cone of light, perfect for silhouettes.
The Giant Pacific Manta can grow to 22 feet in width, and weigh 3000 pounds. Yet despite their enormity, Mantas are relatively harmless to Humans. Mantas are plankton feeders and have no stinging barb on the tail. Photographed in the Socorro Islands of Mexico.
