Description
more common in the Northern areas of the US and through out Canada. Cross Foxes are so named for the dark band of fur running along the spine which is crossed at the shoulders by another band of dark fur. The Cross Fox may be slightly larger than the Red Fox, and with a slightly bushier tail. This majestic Fox was photographed Wyoming.

Aaron, this photograph is very beautiful, skillfully taken. I like the detail on the fox, and on the white snow. I'd not heard of Cross Foxes until I read your photo's Description.
