Description
The Legendary Yellowstone Grizzly "Scarface", was killed by an Elk Hunter in Montana last Fall. Scarface was seen and enjoyed by many thousands of visitors to the greater Yellowstone ecosystem, as he lived for over twenty five years. This is a photograph of him in his prime in 2005, along the Lamar river

I just found out about "Scarface" today. Scarface, was a Yellowstone icon; a legendary and badass male grizzly. He survived 25 years and did not deserve to die this way! Heartbreaking..... Rest Well Big Boy! I'm so glad you had a chance to photograph this wonderful, powerful, beautiful grizzly bear. Fabulous shot, Aaron. F/Love
