Blacktip Reef Sharks are among the most abundant shark species in the South Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Blacktips are very territorial, and tend to occupy a relatively small home range for many years. The typical diet of the Blacktip consists of; fish, squid, invertebrates, crustaceans, sea snakes, and birds. Photographed in the Republic of Palau.

Some so-called "wildlife" photographers, make their reputations selling images of captive, and baited animals and birds posed by professional handlers, and photographed at game farms, and various pre-selected scenic locations.
