Description
Graet Hammerhead Sharks range in size from 13 to 20 feet. Their strangly adapted head contains sensory organs, called ampullae of lorenzini, which allow the sharks to locate the electrical fields of their sea floor dwelling prey. This shark was photographed in open water in the Western Bahamas.
