This Raccoon kit and two others, apparently left by their mother this fall, still utilized their den, a cavity in an old Cottonwood snag, well into September. It was great fun to watch them leave the den one by one in the evenings to begin their nightly activities. Photographed in Wyoming, Thanks to Diana.
