What lens do you use in something like this? I've photographed bears outside the truck but I know if you don't stay alert they can move in on you without you knowing it... :-) Do you go armed?
Aaron Whittemore replied:
A long 500mm prime with extenders, Jeff. Pepper spray if I think of it. Thanks very much.

Tracy, thank you very much for the features in self-taught artists Your Own, and I Love Photography 2 A Day. I am deeply grateful.

Great title, Aaron! Another fabulous shot! I love the look on their faces! You do amazing work, so clear and full of detail. Nature at it's best! Well done! l/f
Aaron Whittemore replied:
Thank you for the very generous compliments, Fiona. I am sincerely grateful for your visit.

LOL!!! This is so, so adorable and unique!!! How in the world did you get this image so that it looks like you're standing directly behind Mama Bear??!!! I suppose it's a really long lens and just a wonderful composition!! However you did it...I love it!! Fantastic perspective and composition!!! :)))fv
Aaron Whittemore replied:
Thank you, Laurie. That's just the way it happened. I am grateful for the visit.

Aaron --I don't know how you got this shot, but it's outrageously great. Nature and the communication is priceless!!! L/F
Aaron Whittemore replied:
I just observe, and try to document behavior, sometimes it works. Thanks, Bill. The one on the right was suspicious looking, I agree.
Maria Bozina
Cute! And how this photo could be possibly made?
Aaron Whittemore replied:
Thank you, Maria. I simply recorded the event as it occurred. Glad you liked the image.
