The Hawaiian Manta Ray generally grows to about ten feet, or three meters wide. Mantas are plankton feeders, filtering rich zooplankton from the sea. This Manta was photographed at night off Kona, Hawaii.

Hi Aaron, I was in the doctor's office the other day and they had an aquarium there and I can tell you that it looked nothing like all the gorgeous photography you have posted in your gallery. Well done and FAV.

. . ★ . . :: and they are a sight to behold when a fisherman on the beach accidently hooks one and hauls it out onto the sand much to everyone's surprise . the good thing is watching him carefully step on the tail to prevent injury as he gently removes the hook and sets the beautiful creative free . releasing the manta to make it's way back to the ocean . only a few feet to the water . incredible how agile they are . so sleek and smooth and pretty . . the amazing thing is to see one in sunlight . they are gorgeous captivating creatures . beautiful work Aaron . adore the tones :: . . ★ . .
