Description
Stingrays are so named for the long serrated poisonous spine in the tail used for defense. The Sting is not deadly to humans, however it is intensely painful. Photographed in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

This one is well captured. If the spine gets you in the right spot it is deadly. Just have to ask the Croc Hunter.
