Description
The Napoleon, or Humphead Wrasse, makes it's home in the South Pacific. These are among the largest reef fish, growing to about six feet in length, and living up to fifty years. Napoleon Wrasses are generally encountered by divers in the first 100 feet of the water column and near the reef. This often brightly colored fish feeds mainly on crustaceans, mollusks, and other fish. Photographed in on a dive site called Blue Corner, in the Republic of Palau.
